Emergency Fund
When unexpected circumstances arise, whether it be from a natural disaster or medical emergency, Looking Back Moving Forward has dedicated this set of funding to help families in need when such unexpected events happen.
Provided aid to Miss Famata who had lost her leg in a natural disaster. LBMF raised money to give her a prospective leg and provided her money to begin petty trading.
Provided soap and water sanitation stations to villages to protect individuals from the coronavirus. We were also able to provide individuals with masks.
Provided Bed Net Buddies to mothers with young children. These sleeping tents protect children from getting bitten by mosquitoes that can transfer malaria, which can be very deadly to young children.
Provided water and food supplies to displaced individuals in Freetown, after a mudslide destroyed many homes and killed hundreds of people.
